From our Head of School

Choosing a school is a big deal. As a parent myself, I understand the weight of that decision—it’s not just about academics; it’s about shaping your child’s heart, mind, and future. At Ascent Christian, we believe that education should never come at the cost of meaningful connection. That’s why Christ is at the center of all we do. In our community, each child is known, seen, and deeply loved—for who they are and who they are becoming. We are intentional about building relationships, fostering a safe, nurturing environment where students grow in both faith and knowledge.

When my son started school, I vividly remember dropping him off and driving away with tears in my eyes. My heart broke realizing how much time we’d now

spend apart – knowing I was missing the majority of his world. I found myself thinking, there must be another way. I longed for more time, more connection—and that longing led me to discover the hybrid model: a way to partner more closely with my child’s education without sacrificing academic excellence or spiritual growth. Like many families, we came for the Christ-centered education and the hybrid schedule—but what our children ended up gaining was so much more: confidence, leadership, the ability to think critically—especially when it comes to matters of faith—problem-solving, and a beautiful ease in interacting with people of all ages. These are life skills that go beyond the classroom, and we’ve seen them take root deeply.

We would be honored to walk alongside you as you choose the best fit for your children and your family. We know there is no one-size-fits-all solution, and we want to help you make the right choice—one that brings peace, joy, and alignment with your family’s values. If you’re longing for a Christ-centered education, a supportive community, and a model that gives your family more time together, we warmly invite you to explore what makes Ascent Christian School unique. We’re here to answer your questions, share our hearts, and help you envision what’s possible.
